Women's soccer has been active in Fairbanks since the mid-1980s thanks to a die-hard group of ladies who wanted to play fun and competitive soccer all summer with their peers. Until 2005, the league was called Fairbanks Women's Soccer League. In 2005, we became a non-profit organization and changed our name to reflect our mission to expand to include more than just women. The women's division of FSA has about 120 players divided into 6 teams. Players must be at least 16 years old, and all skill levels are represented. Everyone is encouraged to join, regardless of experience! Teams are formed after several weeks of practice and games run for 10 weeks June through mid-August.
